Gerald FitzgeraldGerald Fitzgerald is an exciting artist who is interested in oil painting and collage within his work. Some of his work consists of representational art done in oil paint that depicts both speeding landscapes as seen from a moving perspective and abstract art.
Within his work he has produced a number of pieces that include collage elements that broaden the representation of his work and gives a cultural texture/context to the painted passages.
As a creative individual practicing for a number of years Gerald has gathered qualifications and experience in Illustration, Painting and Animation.
As an illustrator Gerald has won awards from Victoria and Albert Museum Children's book Awards, the B&H Gold Award for Illustration and exhibited in The Readers Digest Illustration Award.
When Gerald qualified as an animator he worked for absolute studios on the Blob Heads
a Nickelodeon production. He did all the production art, digital cameras and story-boarding.
Today though Gerald is going back to his first love of painting and developing his work for local galleries in Glasgow.
